How to get the best posts on Marky
Hello! If you're new here, welcome to Marky!
When you first sign up for Marky, it produces content for you based off its initial best guesses.
But I highly recommend fine-tuning your business settings to really get the most out of Marky.
Below is my (Josiah, CEO) guide to get the best posts out of Marky!
Just use it more and give it time
Marky is always improving. What matters is that you’re consistent — it may take some time to see results. In the future, we will learn from what does best on your socials and use that to improve your posts.
Copy your writing style
Under "Business" tab, you can provide writing samples to the AI so that it knows how to write for you.
Set tone
Under "Business" tab, look for the tone box to tell the AI what tone you want your business to take on.
You can also tell the AI to speak as "we" or "I" or refer to you/your-business in 3rd person in the tone box
Be more or less self-promotional
Under "Business" tab, you can choose to be more or less self-promotional, change your tone, change your emoji level and more!
Pick the right language
Under "Business" tab, look for the language selector. Choose French, Spanish or any other language
Get more variation in designs
Under "Branding" tab. Look for "Themes" section. Add more themes to see more variation. Also, we add more themes every week so check back often!
Upload a logo and headshot

Choose good colors for your designs
You want a bold brand color and a plain background color (eg white) and text color (eg black)
Swap out topics
Under the "Topics" tab. This is what Marky creates posts based on. Swap them out to get posts about new topics!
