Review Process: Statuses and Commenting

The Agency - Client Review Process

This doc covers the review process that enables smooth communication between agencies and their clients. To learn more about what a client is and how to add them check out the article What is an agency client?

Here's how it works:
- An agency can mark any post as Ready for Review
- These posts will show up on the clients dashboard
- The client can Approve or Request Changes to these posts, as well as leave any comments they might have
- The agency can then respond and publish the posts that got approved

Step by Step

For a more detailed look, here is a step-by-step outline of how the process works.

From the Agency Side

On either the generated or drafts tab, when you as the agency are good with a post, you can click "Mark Ready for Review" to update the post's status.

The post will be tagged with a Ready for Review status. The post will now appear in your clients dashboard, ready for them to review.
For now you'll have to manually notify your client, in the future we'll have notifications!

You can provide additional information by adding comments to the post.

You will now see the status update to Changes Requested or Approved whenever the client updates the status. From here you can make the changes needed or get it scheduled and posted!

From the Client Side

Have the client log in through the client portal. To learn how to set this up check out What is an agency client?

From here, the client will see all posts you've marked as Ready for Review. They can approve posts, request changes, and leave comments.

And that's everything!
